I walked out of class and to my locker, where I put away most of my notebooks. I closed my notebook and met a pair of chocolate brown eyes. I gripped the strap of my bag and turned to him.
“What?”I asked a little irritated. He leaned against the locker.
“I miss you.”He whispered. The hallway was empty except for a few kids. I looked at him with sadness. I didn’t want to admit that I missed him too but he was hard to resist.
“I miss you too but I just need time.”I said and tried to walked away. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into his chest.
“I’m sorry, Madeline. I want you to be safe. When you said you were leaving, I thought you were leaving for good.”He mumbled into my hair. I sighed and wrapped my arms around him. I could feel him smile.
“I’m sorry too. I was being a brat.”I chuckled and looked up at him. He smiled down at me
“I love you.”He said, lovingly. His large hand cupped my face and tilted it up at him.
“I love you too.”I said and he pull my face to his. His lips connected with mine and we moved in sync. He ran his tongue across my bottom lip, asking for enterance. I granted him access. I moved closer to him, wanting more. After a few minutes, we pulled away. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to his car. We drove to the pack house. I hopped out and we walked to the living room, where his parents were.
“Madeline, I’m so glad to see you.”Bella pulled me into a hug.
“I missed you both.”I said and looked at Paul. He smiled, slightly but his expression changed to his usual serious look.
“We missed you too. Even if one of us doesn’t look like it.”She smiled and leaned into Paul’s chest. Kyle pulled me close to him and turned to his parents.
“We’re gonna go to my room.”He said and pulled me to the stairway. He pulled me into a kiss as I stood on the first step. I smiled into the kiss and gripped his shirt. Someone cleared their throat and we pulled away. Kyle glared at the person. I looked and saw that it was Daisy. She looked nervous.
“I-I want to say sorry about everything, Madeline.”She stuttered. I tightened my grip on his shirt and smiled at her. She looked guilty and shrink under Kyle’s glare.
“It’s okay, Daisy. I understand you were hurt.”I spoke softly. She bowed and walked away. I looked at Kyle who had a surprised look on his face. I gave him a questioning look.
“You forgive her after everything.”He shook his head. His arms were wrapped around my waist and my hands were on his chest.
“Her mate rejected her, Kyle. She was upset. You would be the same way if you were in her shoes.”I told. He grinned at me and peck my lips once more.
“When did you become so smart?”He said teasingly. I gave him a playfully glare.
“I was always smart.”I said and walked up the stairs, with him following. We walked into the bedroom. We sat down on the little couch in his room and watched a show. We watched the Teen Wolf and I gawked at Isaac. He was my favorite and he was hot!
“He is so hot.”I mumbled, accidentally. Kyle turned me to look at him. He glared at me and I pouted. I reached out to hug him but he pulled away. I sat on top of his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“But you’re hotter.”I kissed his jawline.He moaned and suddenly I was pushed against the couch with him hovering above me. His eyes were black.
“Madeline.”Ken’s deep voice said. His wolf took over.
“Hmmm.”I hummed and looked behind him up at the ceiling.
“Don’t tease me.”He sucked me neck. I moaned, loudly and gripped his brown hair. He grabbed my hands and put it above my head. He pulled away from my neck and his black eyes gazed into mine. He leaned down and sniffed my neck.
“You smell different.”He muttered.”A good different.”
His lips were attached to my neck. I knew tomorrow I would wake up with love bites all over my neck. He reached down to my jeans and I stopped him.
“Are you sure this is safe?What about the baby?”I asked, worried. He looked at me and then my stomach.
“It is safe, Madeline. Otherwise I wouldn’t be doing this.”He spoke softly. I nodded as he kissed the small baby bump. I smiled watching him touch my stomach. He lips then become attached to mine and you know how it went.

The next morning, I woke up in Kyle’s arms. I smiled and looked up at him. He lips were slightly parted and his hair was messy. He had a faint smile on his face. I kissed his cheek and got up. I grabbed my bra and underwear on the floor. I put it on and walked to the bathroom. I turned on the faucet and stood inside the shower. I pulled the glass door in and sighed as the hot water hit my skin. A few minutes later the glass door opened and there stood Kyle with a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and continued washing my hair. I felt his arms snake around my waist and his lips were on my ear.
“I love you.”He whispered. I smiled and repeated the words back. We took turns washing each other’s hair. He let out a moan when my hands messaged his scalp. We took a really long shower. After the shower, we walked out into the bedroom and got dressed. There was a knock at the door and Kyle opened it with a hard stare.
“The alpha of the Dark Valley pack is outside at the front entrance.”The Gamma told us. Kyle tensed and glanced at me. I looked at him worried. Why does the name sound so familiar?
“Madeline, stay here.”He ordered. I nodded and bit my lip. They both walked out of the room and downstairs. I looked out the window and realized something. Dark Valley pack, that’s Lorin’s pack. I walked out the balcony and saw the scene unravel before me. Lorin and Kyle stood a foot apart from each other. They exchanged a few words and started yelling at each other. I saw as they both shifted. Their wolfs were about the same size but I couldn’t see every well. A footstep came from behind me. I turned around to see a lady. She was holding a needle and had no expression on her face. I opened my mouth to scream but she was a step ahead of me. She dashed towards me and put her hand over my mouth. She stuck the needle into my arm. Everything was all so sudden. My vision started to get blurry and I felt light headed. I felt awful but all I could think about was my baby.
My eyes fluttered open though my vision wasn’t working and I heard someone whisper my name.
“Madeline.”It whispered. The voice sounded like Lorin.
“Lorin.”I mumbled. He appeared as if he popped out of the sky. He was only in his boxers.
“Madeline.”He whispered again. He was leaning over me. His face inches away from him.
“Where’s Kyle?”I somewhat stuttered. He glared into my eyes but it faded.
“He left you.”He whispered. I shook my head.
“No, Kyle would never do anything like that.”I told. He grabbed my hand and pulled my somewhere. There stood Kyle and Kaylee. He smiled at her and connected his lips with her’s. My heart broke but what really hurt was what he said next.
“I love you, Kaylee.”He said. My eyes stung with tears and a few of the ran down my cheek. I though he said he didn’t love her. Maybe he did after all. He didn’t want me he wants Kaylee. Everything faded and I was met with darkness.
