Waking up wrapped in Ashers arms the next morning was all I could ever asked for. I’ve always dreamed of having a mate who would love me for me. Someone who apprenticed me and someone who would have been proud to have me by his side. Leopold had exceeded all my expectations.
Lifting my head off Ashers naked chest, I squirmed out of his hold and off the bed, heading straight for the bathroom. Once I got there, I ran straight for the mirror. I brushed my hair of my shoulder and titled my neck, so I got a full view of the mark that I wore. It was simply beautiful. It was a mixture of a wolf and a raven. The wolf symbolising our kind and the raven symbolising our pack.

Smiling, I stripped out of my clothes and jumped into the shower. Twenty minutes later, I wrapped a towel around myself and walked back into the room. Completely forgetting that it’s not my room, I walk into the closet before realising I have no clothes in here. Embarrassed at my stupidity, I walked back out and saw Leopold leaning against the headboard staring right at me, a smirk playing on his lips.
“Shut up” I muttered holding the towel tighter around my body.
“Excuse me?” he got out of bed and began to walk towards me. I backed away holding out my arm.
“How about you get me my clothes, and we can talk this out” I suggested still continuing my walk until my back hit the wall. Leopold was now stood a few inches in front of me. He rested one hand on the wall next to my head and wrapped the second one around my waist. I squealed holding up my towel which was beginning to fall.
“I have a better idea” He leant down nipping at my mark. Holding back a moan, I pushed him away.
“Stop it. I need to get dressed. I have school” He looked at me with a small hint of a smile on his lips. Before I could say anything else he leant down once again, capturing my lips with his own. I bit back a moan as the hand he had resting against the wall, wrapped itself around the back of my neck. Once he licked my lips, I knew it was time to stop.
“You need to get dressed and need to let me do the same” I panted. Me being in only a towel wasn’t helping but Leopold being in only his boxers wasn’t either. He ignored me continuing to place butterfly kisses on my neck.
“Leopold” I stressed. He stopped looking up at me, his eye the darkest of colours.
“Say it again” He growled. I swallowed too distracted by the desire swimming in his eyes. “Say it” he repeated squeezing my waist.
“Ash-” Before I could finish what I started, the knock on the door interrupted me. Leopold growled loud enough for the person to hear.
“It’s Jerry. I was just wondering whether Elise was there. She isn’t in her room. We’re getting late” Jerry spoke from the other side of the door. Leopold let go off me sitting down on the bed.
“I’m here. Why don’t you go and I’ll come a little later” I replied. Jerry agreed heading off. Without a word Leopold got up and headed out the door. I didn’t know whether I was okay for him to be walking around with only his boxers on. I sighed walking back into the closet. If I couldn’t get my own clothes it didn’t mean I couldn’t wear Leopold’s. I found a black v-neck and threw it on. Leopold being much taller than me meant it was long on me. It stopped around mid-thigh. Before I got to the trousers, Leopold walked back into the room, with some clothes. More specifically my clothes. He throws them at me before realising I was wearing his shirt.
“Give me back the shirt” he said staring at me. I looked down at the shirt I was wearing. “Well, you need to turn around so I can take it off” I said somewhat hurt.
“Not that shirt. The one in your hand. I’m not letting you take my shirt off” He said snatching my shirt out of my hand. I laughed at his actions, dressing in the white jeans he got me. I tucked the shirt into the jeans before heading out.
“You just make it harder for me to let you leave” He admitted. I smiled to myself turning around. I grabbed the back of Leopold’s head bring his lips down to mine. Before he could respond, I backed off moving to his ear. “Get dressed” I whispered before leaving. I ran to my room grabbing a jacket and my bag before running to school.

“So. . .what were you doing in Leopold’s room?” Jerry asked as we walked on the school grounds during lunch.
“You know. . .just chilling.” He laughed at my excuse.
“Stop bullshitting. I know you’re lying” Jerry said stopping me. I grabbed his hand taking him to a less crowded area.
“What?” I removed my hair from my shoulder showing him my mark. His eyes grew wide.
“Oh, you sly little…” He started but ended up laughing. “Congrats” he exclaimed. Before I could reply a crashing stopped me.
“Oh, not again” I whined. Turning around I saw a crowd gathering and made my way over. In-front of the student body stood a dozen of wolves. Right at the front stood a man in his mid-forties. Behind him stood the wolves, foam dripping out of their mouths. They were drugged. Everyone began backing away afraid they had a contagious disease. Most of the people present weren’t trained enough to fight, if need be. I walked forward. I knew they weren’t contagious. I could have easily handled them. Jerry and Alexis were right behind me.
“Just the girl I was looking for” he taunted.
“What do you want?” I asked looking directly at him. He began to laugh.
“You know exactly what I want. I want you” he motioned for his wolves to step forward. They all shifted – yes, they were butt naked – and began to walk towards me. Before they could actually touch me, a body stood in-front of me, his arms held out blocking me.
“Over my dead bodies” He explained. I shifted my body so I could see the protectors face and saw Geoffery. A few seconds later another body stood by his side, holding his hand. It was Harper. Jerry and Alexis joined. As if this set of a whole chain reaction, the entire student body stepped forward linking hands, creating a circle around me.
“You’re not taking our Luna anywhere” A boy shouted. The rest yelled in agreement. They knew? I look at Alexis who explained.
“Your scent changed. It’s mixed with the Alphas” Now I understood. Jerry couldn’t recognise the change because he’s wasn’t from this pack.
“You asked for it” Before he could continue the attack, a ground shaking growl stopped him. Noticing everyone bow their heads, I knew it was Leopold. A sudden heat passed through my body making me want to scream. It was his anger. Clutching my stomach I knelt to the ground hoping it’d go away. Standing back up, I pushed my way out of the circle running to Leopold. I grabbed hold of him, hoping my touch would calm him down, so the burning could ease. It did, but only slightly. Isaac stood by his side, with dozens and dozens of warriors behind them.
“Well, well, well, we meet again” The man from earlier laughed. Everyone backed away giving space to the warriors and the Alpha to step forward. Leopold wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
“Her being your mate just makes this so much more fun” he smirked. Isaac growled stepping forward. Before we could actually attack, the group ran off, but not without the man yelling “We’ll be back, when the groups are even” over his shoulder. Leopold was shaking with anger as he held on to me. Pulling me in-font of him he buried his head in my shoulder. I didn’t say anything knowing, he’s trying to calm himself down.
“Schools over. Everyone go home” Isaac yelled. This was the first time I had ever seen Isaac this angry.
“How the fuck do they manage to get on our land every single fucking time”He continued to yell pulling at his hair.
“A mole” Alexis says squeezing Chances shoulder. Leopold finally looked back up at her.
“It makes sense. Only an inside person can help them get onto your land without anyone finding out. There’s no way they can get here by themselves. Your security is far too tight” Jerry piped in.
“How the fuck do we find out who that is?” Chanced growls. His anger growing by the second.
“We can’t. For now I have a different plan.” I said looking at Leopold. He looked at me for a second before nodding. Before jumping into my plan, I dismissed all the warriors so only immediate people were left.
Now all that was left to do was to put the plan into action.
