— Sally’s POV —
I swear if I see another couple acting all lovey-dovey, I’m gonna scream. It was bad enough seeing Lilian having a date with a guy which I’m guessing is with her mate but now it’s Kevin and Hannah. I’m happy for them obviously but…8
I told Kevin that I would be at the backyard which I am but in the woods part. I just wanted to clear my head. I shifted behind a tree into my light brown wolf with white at the tips of my tail. I was smaller than most she-wolves but don’t underestimate my size. I can’t wait for my birthday but even though your not at the age when you smell your mate which is 16, your mate, who could be older can still know we’re their mate although we don’t cause we can’t smell their scent. My birthday is on the October 4. So it’ll be next month and it’s in my favorite season. Autumn. I don’t know why but that particular season always calm s me down.115
I just ran and ran and ran away from all the love stuff from Lilian’s house and after a while I stopped. I just walked and felt my surroundings. I stumbled upon a cliff with my favourite flower surrounding it. Gardenia’s. It wasn’t like the place where me, Kevin and Lilian found when we were small but it felt like my personal sanctuary. I just put my wolf head on my paws and whimpered and sighed sadly wondering if I’ll ever meet my mate.10
Then I felt like someone was staring at me. This feeling sent shivers down my spine and my wolf kept acting up. I just stood up and decided to leave and return here tomorrow because this place is so peaceful.
I only took two steps when a wolf appeared before me. He was large but not large as an Alpha or Beta.He looked liked a Delta or something. I’m not sure. I was too exhausted too fight so I just lowered my head in submission only to be pin to the ground by him. The look in his eyes was creeping me out because they were filled with joy and I had no idea in hell why.50
I flipped us over which made him shock since I was such a small wolf and looked liked I never trained. I smirked at him and got off him and was about to walk away when he pounced on me demanding I respect him I just sighed and subside. He got off me and shifted behind a tree.2
He looked hot with a capital H. He was absolutely fabulous. Yes I’m a Directioner. He had an eight pack which was also my weakness. He must’ve caught me checking him out cause what he said next made me blushed, “Like what you see sweetheart?”64
I blushed even more when he said, “Shift.” I put my head on the ground,covered my eyes with my paws and shook my head. He chuckled and I took my right paw off to see what he was doing. He just kept staring at me and then he said something shocking,
“Mate.”37
I was really happy that I found my mate but was scared that he might reject me. I turned away from him and laid down and took a whiff of the gardenia’s and put my head on my paws again and whimpered. I heard the cracking of bones and felt him nudge my head. I looked up at him and just smiled a small wolfy smile to assure him I was OK. Then I got up. He licked the side of my face and I blushed. I licked the side of his face and ran away from him. I wasn’t running away from him. I just wanted to play a small game of cat and mouse. Me being the mouse of course. He growled playfully from behind me and ran. I soon heard the sound of paws hitting the ground. I suddenly had an idea which I was sure that Lilian might or might not have use and decided to run the opposite direction. When I turned around, I got what I wanted.
I went to the tree where I put my clothes and shifted back. I soon went back to where he was and saw that he was growling. I laughed hysterically until I held my sides, tears poring down my cheeks. Do you know what happen? He ran straight to the tree. I laughed so hard that I didn’t feel a pair of arms wrap themselves around my waist.70
I tried to stop laughing only to double up more. He growled at me and said while pouting, “That really hurt you know.” I just chuckled and replied while smirking, “That’s what you get when you try to catch me.” It felt really warm when I was next to him and then he asked, “So sweetheart, what’s your name.” I smiled at him and replied, “Sally but you can call me Sal or Sally. Either way it’s still the same. Yours?” He chuckled and replied, “Mason. Delta of the Silver Angel Pack.” I replied while smirking, “Well it looks like we’ll be seeing each other more Mason.” He shivered and was about to ask me something when I got a mind-link from Kevin. “Sal! Where the hell are you??” I replied, “Calm your tits bro. I’ll be home soon. Jeez.”75
I was too busy mind-linking my brother that I didn’t notice Mason saying, “Sal? Please answer me!” I snapped out of my mind-link and smiled at him, “Don’t worry Mason. I was just mind-linking Kevin.” He growled possessively and put his nose at the crook of my neck and said, “Mine.” I chuckled at him and he looked at me like I had 3 heads and I said to him while smirking, “Kevin’s my brother Mr. Possessive.” He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck and asked me, “What did he want love?” I shivered at his pet name for me and said sadly, “He wants me to come home.” Mason growled and was about to open his mouth but I beat him to it and said, “I’ll meet you here same time tomorrow OK?” He looked at me sadly and said, “Fine.” I nodded and smiled at him and was about to get out of his embrace when he pinned me against the tree and said to me while smirking, “Only if you kiss me.”17
I blushed and just mumbled a small ‘Fine.’ He must’ve heard it cause he had the biggest grin on his face and crashed his lips to mine. I was shocked cause it happen so fast then suddenly he licked my bottom lip asking for entrance which I denied. He tried it again and I smirked which made him growl in annoyance and grip my hip which made me gasp and he took that as an opportunity to plunge his tongue in my mouth. The kiss was getting hot until I heard a growl.
